"I was contacted by Derek after filling out an online quote request from NerdWallet and was hoping to just get some numbers to compare to my current auto policy through Liberty Mutual.

As a grumpy and tired elder millennial, I want to both click-click-click-and-talk-to-no-one-just-tell-me-the-number-already but also can-I-just-talk-to-a-human-not-a-robot-is-that-too-much-to-ask???! So I was initially kind of annoyed at the thought of someone calling and emailing me when a Real Man reached out instead of just getting an automated quote from State Farm like I did from the other 2 companies.

Nevertheless, Derek persisted, and he cracked the secret millennial code (texting). And after a couple super informative phone calls (gasp), I learned I was way underinsured and paying a lot more than I needed to. He easily and painlessly signed me up with a new policy and I'm saving $365 a year for more coverage. We couldn't beat my home policy pricing, but he was honest and straightforward about that, which is a huge tell on someone's integrity when dealing with people in sales in my loud and unhumble opinion, and he was patient in explaining pretty boring ass (but important!) (no offense, Derek) stuff.
